Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine, of Scottish-English descent. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's prior marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria part of London. According to Taylor-Joy, the removal was extremely difficult for her and she was unable to study English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands to Hill House. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet.
