Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. She and LeAnnekymes were among the newest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass-country singer and musician. She began her career in the field at the age of a young child, and when she was just 10 years young. The year 1987 was when she released her first solo album, after joining Rounder Records. In 1989, she was asked to be a part of Alison Krauss & Union Station together with whom she performed.
