Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the American sweetheart after she was crowned American Idol in the first season. Her win was not only an enormous success and a huge success, it also earned the singer a contract to record several albums with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. She has since released numerous studio albums. 3 of these reached the US Billboard 200 chart, while others narrowly missed it. She's one of the biggest artists that come out of her participation in the American Idol series. She was a bit flimsy as she found popularity with various themes and musical styles, often writing songs of her own. For her uniqueness and vocal talent, she has received praise from the public as well as numerous prizes. She has also been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. Apart from her professional career in the field of music, she has also been featured on film and television. She is also the author of the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with numerous charities.
