Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actress and musician, is best known for her work in Tamil and Malayalam films. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. Her debut was in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah is born into an Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her mother is the older sibling of the researcher assistant in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was raised in Chennai. He attended National Public School. After graduation, he studied at Women's Christian College. She has said that she was quite a fan of science and wanted to become a psychiatrist until she completed the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea began studying classical piano when she was just eight. When she was 10, she was an active member of the Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the basis of her first musical and singing career. She appeared as performer in her college in various performances hosted by The Madras Players or EVAM. Andrea was president of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea's acting career began with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. Andrea was in the lead role with Shiva in a Leo advertisement for coffee in the year 2006. She also acted on the Podhigai Channel, a television show. She's performed all across India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's climax, (2005). She sang for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. She was asked to join the female lead characters on Pachaikili Muthucharam. The film was an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed with Andrea playing Kalyani who is a housewife who's husband is involved in an affair and is blackmailed. Andrea got the part of Kalyani after Simran Shobana, Tabu and other actors were approached. which released in early the year 2010. It was released in the month of August, 2011. Venkat Prabhu released his multi-starrer Mankatha. It was her turn to fill a smaller part in the film. In 2013 she made her debut in Malayalam film with Rajeev Ravi's romance movie Annayum Rasoolum.
